Fire On The Mountain Part 3
Back at Elite HQ the Commandos
board the bomber as Draco plays the role of captain/1st officer/chief flight
attendent rolled into one.
DRACO
Climb aboard. Find
your seats and fasten your safety belts. Next stop,
Peru!
Soon she roars into the
blue skies enroute to the Andes again. Once landed at the foothills of the
mountain range the Rangers disembark in their humanoid forms together with Ash,
Misty, Tracy and Brock. Draco informs Rourke about the location of the
Syndicate where they are headed to.
DRACO
Commander, if my
intelligence is correct. Archer is headed for a mining town not far from
here.
MISTY
Good luck at the Inca
temple!
DRACO
Thanks, I'll need all the
luck I get. <She takesoff again and disappears>
LYLE ROURKE
Rangers transform and move
out!
Then the leader of the
Elite changes to his 18-Wheeler form and leads the convoy into the nearby
town. Within seconds they approach the outskirts of the town's main
entrance just in time to see the townspeople fleeing in all directions yelling
and screaming in terror. Lyle suspects Archer is nearby and at it again
stealing more loot for his evil greed.
LYLE ROURKE
I got a funny feeling that
mutants are close by in the neighborhood.
JAGO
I sure hope so. Brick
and I have a score to settle with those villians.
LYLE ROURKE
Welcome to the club.
<Cracks a joke>
Inside a nearby hanger
or armory the gorgonyte is helping himself to steel beams totally oblivious or
unaware of the danger approaching until a loud crashing noise catches his
attention and he looks over his shoulder in suprise. Without warning the
Big Rig cannonballs into him and catapaults the screaming Syndicate leader
through another wall into the outside. Following his rival into the main
street district Rourke morphs and orders his soldiers to...
LYLE ROURKE
Now Commandos, finish him
off!
Archer sprawled on his
face reaches for his cannon which dislodged, came loose from his shoulder but
before he can grab it a Jeep Grand Cherokee zooms past and snatches the weapon
out of reach.
BRICK BAZOOKA
Just what I always wanted.
<Skids to a stop & morphs> Now let's see how Archer likes a dose of
his own medicine.
Pulling the trigger he
releases an energy bolt that slams the gorgonyte onto his backside. But
the recoil drops the artillery sergant on his butt too. Stunned he shakes
his head, blinks his eyes to clear his mind.
BRICK BAZOOKA
Wow, now that was a
kick.
Suddenly Laserbeak
screeches angrily and swoops down to grab the cannon away from Bazooka who yells
at the Terminator.
BRICK BAZOOKA
Bring that back you
birdbrain!
Ignoring him the T-800
macaw returns the cannon to its master and Archer re-attaches it to his shoulder
& wrist. Glowering at the Ranger he retaliates.
ARCHER
No one does that to me and
continues to function! <Then he fires the weapon>
Brick dives clear
before he gets hit by the blast. The laser strikes a watertower which
topples like a tree chopped down by an axe. Directly in its path is a
terrified villager girl who cries in horror.
VILLAGER GIRL
Heeeeeeelp!
BROCK
Roll for it
Phoenix!
Brock, Ash, Misty &
Tracy inside the Gravedigger monster truck of Paul Phoenix charge full speed
towards the girl. Swerving past her Brock flings open his door on the
passenger side, leans out and grabs the girl by both arms, pulling her inside
just in time as Phoenix accellerates clear of the falling watertower as it hits
the ground with a loud CRASH!
VILLAGER GIRL
You saved my life, I thank
you.
PAUL PHOENIX
Hang on kids we're not out
of the woods yet.
Laserbeak begins
divebombing the monster truck with laserfire. Phoenix swerves back &
forth creating a moving target, impossible for the Terminator to line up a
perfect shot.
VILLAGER GIRL
Those evil creatures.
They are the ones who stole the Crystal of Power.
ASH-MISTY-TRACY-BROCK
HUH? <All at the same
time>
Phoenix continues
dodging laserbullets that whiz all around like angry bees. Then when all
seems lost from out of nowhere Lei Wulong steps into view and lines up his
sights on the T-800.
LEI WULONG
Watch the birdie Laserbeak!
<Scores direct hit on the Terminator>
TRACY <Confused>
What is this Crystal of
Power?
VILLAGER GIRL
I will take you to
it.
Meanwhile Archer is
being fired upon from every direction at once. Quickly he radios backup or
reinforcements to cover him.
ARCHER
Roxy, I need your
help. Leave Ninjara and Kendo to guard the crystal and come
immediately.
NINJARA <Explodes>
How dare you assign me to
guard duty Archer! I am Ninjara the almighty!
FOXY ROXY
Have fun playing
crystal-nurse samauri...ta-tah. <Mocks her>
Then she morphs to
jet form and streaks away leaving Ninjara glaring madly after her
alongside Kenny who also watches her leave. At the same time Draco
approaches the ruins from behind and touches down at the base of the
pyramid. She pauses to stare up at the two mutants whose backs are turned,
they do not sense her presence yet because they are still watching Foxy
dissapear.
DRACO
I'm getting too sneaky
hanging around like this. <To herself>
Simultanously we see
Ash, Misty, Tracy, Brock and the girl at the backside of the pyramid where the
girl shows her new friends a secret backdoor entrance leading into the chambers
within.
VILLAGER GIRL
This secret passage will
guide us to the main chamber where the crystal is stored.
ASH KETCHUM
Cool, I can't
wait.
TRACY
This should be
interesting.
MISTY
Then let's get
going.
BROCK
I'm with
you.
MEWTWO <Spying on them>
Ravage eject.
Operation destruction.
He releases the
Terminator wolf who begins stalking-following its prey as they enter the secret
door of the pyramid. Simultanously the dragon begins climbing the stone
steps on the outside leading to the roof.
DRACO
I must destroy their
weapon.
Suddenly a voice stops
her in her tracks. Turning she spots Kendo aiming his pulse rifle at her
backside with a stupid grin on his face.
KENDO COYOTE
Yeah? But without our
Super Cannon I can fry your circuits extra crispy. Archer would love
that. But that sneaky Ninjara would take all the credit.
He escorts his hostage
up the steps towards the roof keeping the dragon at gunpoint so she will not try
to escape. He continues speaking...
KENDO COYOTE
On the other hand now that I
think of it...if I let you wreck our new toy, Archer would blame Ninjara.
Which would make me very happy.
Suddenly the samauri
stands before them with her own pulse gun leveled in their faces, face contorted
in anger.
NINJARA
Kenny?! You stupid,
no-good traitor! <Then she fires her weapon>
Fortunately Kendo saves
himself by ducking aside so the blast misses him by inches. Unfortunately
for Draco the blast strikes her dead-center in the chest and she roars in pain,
topples backwards off the steps and plummets back to the ground below, crashing
hard onto her backside unconscious. Ninjara sneers down at her
ex-bodyguard servant lying at her feet.
NINJARA
So much for the Ranger
intruder. <Then turns to face Kenny> And as for you traitor, <Aims
rifle at her brother> from now on you'll do exactly what this sneaky mutant
tells you, OR...<Pauses for effect before threatening> I REPORT YOUR
TREACHERY TO ARCHER AND I'LL HAVE HIM DEAL WITH YOU INSTEAD!!!
