EPISODE V "Divide And Conquer"
As the next chapter of the war
between good and evil begins the scene is inside a factory where weapons are
being manufactured to be used against the greatest threat the world has ever
known...THE MUTANT SYNDICATE EMPIRE!
FACTORY BOSS
If you can use your computer
skills to step up our efficiency James, Jessie, we'll be able to double-triple
our weapons output.
JESSIE ROCKET
I'll give it a try sir.
<She types commands onto keyboard>
Assault rifles,
shotguns, smart guns (Another term for machine gun), pistols, and so forth roll
through the assembly lines while workers assemble the parts and
check/double-check to make sure they are in working order and no malfunctions
whatsoever. Suddenly klaxxons begin screaming warnings as incoming
intruders approach at full speed! Security guards stationed outside the
plant open fire on the attackers who dive down like eagles or hawks and scatter
the defenders with stink-bombs causing the guards to gag, choke, cough, cover
noses & mouths and run off to avoid the foul gases. Then the jets
crash into the glass windows and morph to true form before the frightened
workers...it is the mutants!
JAMES ROCKET
The mutants! <Reacts with
horror>
As more guards close
in, shooting at the enemy warriors Ninjara looks agitated, annoyed. She
has no time for games, i.e. laser-tag.
NINJARA
Foolish insects. <Lets
them have it with shots from her morpher>
RHEI RAT
Hehehe, terrans run funny
don't they Ninjara.
PRINCE LEON
Uh, look out behind
you.
The lion rock-star
vanishes then reappears behind the startled guards who flee in terror without
firing their weapons. Quickly the samauri begins issuing
instructions.
NINJARA
Drain this factory of its
energy at once, build the energon cubes!
Foxy, Kenny, She-Lion
and the other 3 baddies begin following their orders to the letter. They
drain the energy from the electrical systems and machinery throughout the
factory and fill the 3D cubes before piling them into neat stacks. Looking
on helplessly Team Rocket and the factory boss try to think of something to do
to stop these villians.
FACTORY BOSS
There's nothing we can do to
stop them.
JESSIE ROCKET
Well don't fasten down your
computer chips yet sir, there may still be a few buttons we can
push.
JAMES ROCKET
Time to call in the calvary,
send for General George Armstrong Custer.
Meanwhile at the
riverbed canyon the former site of the origional spacebridge teleportation
gateway Commander Rourke, Misty, Ash, Brock & Tracy are unable to locate the
portal anywhere thinking or believing it will materalize again.
T.J. COMBO
Any luck Rourke? Did
you figure out where the spacebridge will show up next?
LYLE ROURKE
I'm afraid not TJ.
I've scanned the area where the bridge first appeared but my readouts came up
zero.
MISTY
We might as well return
empty-handed to Elite headquarters sir.
Suddenly Lyle
straightens, stiffens as though receiving an incoming transmission through
cyberspace. Lifting one arm to his ear he listens to the SOS message
coming over the speakers on his morpher-wristwatch-communicator.
LYLE ROURKE
Wait, a distress signal from
Team Rocket at the munitions plant.
TRACY
Team Rocket? Why would
they signal for help, are they in danger?
BROCK
I hope
not.
LYLE ROURKE <Listens some
more>
Mutants attacking...stealing
energy and converting to energon cubes...
ASH KETCHUM
Oh good grief, not again.
<Groans, looks mad> Why won't those baddies learn that crime does not
pay?
MISTY
We must go help them if they
are in trouble.
LYLE ROURKE <Agrees>
Commandos! <Calls into
his comlink> Transform and meet me there!
He changes to his Big
Rig 18-Wheeler mode as the teens hop into the cab. At the same time Combo
turns to his fellow warriors and tells them to...
T.J. COMBO
You heard the chief, roll
out!
Then he, Brick Bazooka,
Nick Nitro, Kip Killigan, Butch Meathook, Link Static and Chip Hazard converge
to their vehicular forms while Professors Oaks & Ivy comment about the magic
powers they witness.
PROFESSOR OAKS
I don't know when I'll ever
get used to that.
PROFESSOR IVY
Wow, alien robots that morph
to monster trucks, cool!
While back at the
munitions factory the Syndicate have completed their assignment of stocking up
enough energon cubes to be shipped/delivered ASAP to their
destination.
FOXY ROXY
There it is sister,
<Gestures proudly at stack> every last microspark of energy we could drain
from the place.
NINJARA <Contacts her
boss>
Mission leader to Empire
headquarters. Acknowledge Archer.
ARCHER
Archer here. Report
mission leader Ninjara.
NINJARA
I have achieved
success. All the factory's energy is ours.
ARCHER
Return with the energon
cubes. When I receive the new coordinates for the gateway we will
transport them to Alpha Prime.
NINJARA <Bows &
salutes>
As you wish my master.
But surely you must commend me for my efforts, after all I
was...<Hesitates> What-the? What's that noise.
She is distracted by
sounds of approaching engines headed their way and turns to look in that
direction. Archer is still watching the scene on the BIG SCREEN inside his
homebase and he too sees the familiar 18-Wheeler roll onto the scene like George
Custer leading the 7th Calvary into battle against Chief Crazy Horse & Chief
Sitting Bull of the Sioux Nation during the battle of the Little BigHorn!
Racing through the main garage doors at top speed the truck plows into the piles
of cubes, scattering them like ten-pins in bowling.
NINJARA <Startled>
Rangers! Argh!
<Snarls in rage>
JESSIE ROCKET
I knew the Rangers would not
let me down.
JAMES ROCKET
Commander Rourke to the
rescue.
Ash, Misty, Tracy & Brock
dive out the driver & passenger doors of the Big Rig as it screeches to a
stop before the shocked mutants.
NINJARA
Lyle
Rourke?!
LYLE ROURKE
The one and only samauri.
<Morphs>
ARCHER <Watching the
action>
You outnumber Rourke
6-to-1. Take him and destroy him.
NINJARA
With
pleasure!
She shoots as Rourke
charges her, the laserbullets impact the Commander throwing him backwards into
the far wall and he slumps into a sitting position.
SHE-LION
Time to assist, help out the
vixen.
RHEI RAT
I'm with
you.
PRINCE LEON
Let's rock
dudes!
One by one the mutants
levitate into the air using the power of their morpher rings. Ash and his
friends hurry to Rourke's side afraid he may be hurt.
TRACY
Commander, you all
right?
LYLE ROURKE
Affirmative. But keep
back! <Cautions them to keep their distance>
Now the Syndicate
prepare to launch their assault from above so to speak.
KENDO COYOTE
You would rather bash Rourke
1-on-1...but when Archer wants it done right, Kenny's got him!
Ken fires a burst from
his pulse laser gun but Lyle ducks the shots and they fly harmlessly past.
Now the other mutants take their aim.
FOXY ROXY
Heh-heh, you blew it
brother, but i won't. <She launches a missile>
LYLE ROURKE <Dodges the
warhead>
Wrong as usual
Roxy.
JAMES ROCKET
Lyle watch
out!
JESSIE ROCKET
That's a heat-seeking
missile!
The Commander hits the
floor in a prone position as the missile flashes overhead and deflects the
warhead aimed at him with his morpher creating an invisible shield to protect
him. Knocked off its trajectory the missile crashes through a skylight
dome and explodes harmlessly. Angered, snarling in fury Ninjara hurls
herself straight at Rourke and tackles him to the floor, they begin wrestling
with each other but in the process Lyle's pulse pistol misfires sending
laserbullets slamming into computer terminals which begin to overload, short
circuit.
ASH KETCHUM
Rourke! The
computers!
Lyle dropkicks Ninjara
off him and springs back to his feet again. Quickly he runs towards the
disaster about to develop.
FACTORY BOSS
It's going to blow!
<Alarmed>
LYLE ROURKE
I will shield
you.
He throws himself
against the consoles just as they EXPLODE! The force of the blast creates
crackling-sparking electricity arcs that form around his body and he stumbles
backwards a step or two. Seeing this the samauri turns to her allies and
orders them to takedown the Commander now while they still have the
chance.
NINJARA
Now! Hit him with
everything.
And as one they combine
their firepower opening up with a barrage of laserbullets that slam into Lyle's
body spinning him off balance like a top as he cries out in pain from the shock
of the blows then topples facefirst to the floor unconscious before the
terrified eyes of Jessie, James, Ash, Brock Misty & Tracy!
Simultanously vehicles begin racing towards the muntions plant full
speed.
SHE-LION
Uh-oh, we got company!
<Scared look> Vehicles approaching!
NINJARA
Rangers! Not more of
those idiot fools, ooooooooh! <Growls>
ARCHER
Ninjara, do not fight
them. Escape with the energon cubes.
Immediately the mutants
obey their leader and scoop up all the cubes they can carry each and morph to
jet planes and streak away into the skies at the same instant the monster trucks
and cars-trucks pull up on the scene, skid to screeching stops and morph to
humanoid forms only to watch the enemy depart the premesis.
CHIP HAZARD
The mutants, always get away
before we arrive, nuts!
T.J. COMBO
We'll run them into the
ground!
MISTY
You can't TJ! <Gets his
attention> You got to help Rourke.
TRACY
He's been shot, wounded
bad.
BROCK
Those cowardly idiots shot
him all at the same time.
Nitro, Meathook,
Bazooka, Static, Killigan, Hazard & Combo hurry to their fallen leader's
side and stare in shock & disbelief.
LINK STATIC
Wow, what happened to you
sir?
LYLE ROURKE
Badly damaged, losing energy
fast. <Grabs Nick by the arm> Nitro, can you repair me?
NICK NITRO <Worried>
I hope so, but not
here. Can you still morph?
LYLE ROURKE
I'll
try...
Although in pain he
manages to converge to 18-Wheeler mode but unable to return home under his own
power so he gets a FREE TOW by one of the Rangers while the others protect his
flank & side from anymore sneak attacks.
JESSIE ROCKET <Worried>
He's got to make
it.
ASH KETCHUM <Also
worried>
I dunno, he got hit
bad.
JAMES ROCKET
I hope he does not
die.
BRICK BAZOOKA
Hey lighten up you
guys. Lyle's gonna pull through, he-he's got to.
