Fire In The Sky Part 4
Outside the hidden base next to
the glowing crystal shaft stand the Elite POWs side by side awaiting their
fate. In front of them are Draco and Ninjara as the lady fox prepares to
carry out her assigned task of executing her enemies.
NINJARA
So here is where we test
your loyalty to me Draco. But because of our old friendship I shall be
most generous. <Gestures towards the Commandos> You may have the pleasure
of killing these Elite POWs.
DRACO <Confused>
But, I'm a scientist, not an
executioner.
NINJARA <Gets angry>
I am your mistress, I order
you to terminate them.
DRACO
No! I will not.
They are not guilty of any crimes, they have done no wrong.
NINJARA <Blows her top>
But you have, TRAITOR!
<And shoots her>
The blast strikes the
dragon in mid-chest making her scream in pain, rear back and crash onto her
backside. Alarmed then angered the Commandos react.
KIP KILLIGAN
Why you!
LARA CROFT
Cowardly
fool!
NINJARA <Grins evily at
them>
I shall enjoy this. <And
she fires again & again>
The laserbullets impact
the Commandos who cry out from the hits and collapse to the ground
unconscious. The vixen laughs triumphantly believing she finally
vanquished her enemy.
NINJARA
Ahahahaha, farewell Elite
losers! <Turns to glare at fallen dragon> And as for you Draco, consider
yourself fortunate you did not end up like your friends.
She starts walking away
without looking back. Just then shimmering special effects take place and
the Commandos climb back to their feet again. Stunned, suprised Draco
stares at the Elite looking down at her. She cannot understand or believe
they survived their execution.
DRACO
But, I saw her kill
you.
EDDY GORDO
Haha, an illusion
Draco. You and Ninjara saw one of Croft's holograms.
DRACO
Then you are
functional? Good, uuuuuuuugh. <Passes out>
LARA CROFT <Feels sad>
Yeah, we're alive. I
wish I could say the same for you.
JOSHUA SWEET
Let's get her behind cover
so I can start repair work.
And seconds later the
other Elite forces arrive on-site and they all watch the doctor attempt to save
the life of the dragon.

How is Draco
Doc?
JOSHUA SWEET
Not good, she was badly
damaged.
PAUL PHOENIX <Confused>
I don't get it. Why
was she working for the Empire?

She tried to save us
man.
JOSHUA SWEET
And Ninjara shot her for
it. Well, that's all I can do. Now it's just time and
luck.
