TRANSFORMERS ALIENS IN DISQUISE
Transport To Oblivion Part 5
Back inside the cave the
Commandos struggle to stay alive and find another escape from their predicament
they are now in. Joshua Sweet goes to inspect Paul Phoenix sprawled on his
backside and unconscious.
JOSHUA SWEET
Hey Phoenix looks like you
can use some repairs. <He begins fixing his damaged circuits> This might
get a bit hot. <Then suddenly> Rourke! A bank of Paul's memory chips
have been altered.
LYLE ROURKE
Paul, the spacebridge.
Where did you see it?
PAUL PHOENIX <Struggles to
remember>
The cave, I mean...<Then
it comes back in a flash> I remember now! The riverbed in the
desert.
LYLE ROURKE
Commandos, concentrate
firepower.
Together they open up
with their pulse laser guns blowing away the boulders blocking the mouth of the
cave until the entrance is clear again. Then the soldiers rush outside and
morph to vehicular modes.
LYLE ROURKE
Roll out! <Commands the
convoy to hurry> We must save Ash Ketchum before it's too
late.
While simultanously
back at the gateway control station it might appear that all may be lost.
Archer is receiving info from his master via the comlink with warning about how
long the portal will remain open.
DAHLI LLAMA
The spacebridge will be
operable for a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes.
ARCHER
That will suffice master,
thank you for the warning.
Not far away Ash and
Pickachu are trapped within a glowing cage-cell guarded by Ravage who growls
& snarls at his hostages. Then MewTwo steps towards the pokemon grand
master and his pet.
MEWTWO
Ravage stand aside. <The
terminator obeys and backs off>
He then raises one of
his 3-fingered hands and the energy-bars dissapear from view. Ketchum
believes he is released from captivity.
ASH KETCHUM
So! <Defiantly> I've
served my time and I'm free to go, right?
MEWTWO <Glowers down at
him>
Oh, you're free all right
but not the way you think. Free to go to Alpha Prime.
Ash cannot believe it,
not again he says to himself. But before he knows it he is once again
strapped inside the rocketsled about to be teleported through the space-time
continum to another planet.
ARCHER
You will be riding on a beam
of light. Concentrate on that beam or you will fly off course. Into
the cold dark void and cease to exist.
ASH KETCHUM
Commander Rourke and the
Elite will rescue me.
ARCHER
The Elite? <Giggles>
Hehehehe, don't count on it little hero. Sorry to pop your bubble so to
speak but we've left them buried in a heap of rubble.
Ketchum recoils or
flinches from this shocker. No way! Not his new friends from another
world! They can't be dead he asks himself. Meanwhile the gorgonyte
addresses his boss one last time over the comlink.
ARCHER
Ready to send energon cubes
my master.
DAHLI LLAMA
Ready to receive my
apprentice.
ARCHER
Commence
transport.
MewTwo engages the
controls and the sled speeds down the chute towards the dome when at that same
moment from high above a ridgeline a squadron of cars & trucks come to a
stop and a familiar voice rings out loud & clear.
LYLE ROURKE
Commandos
transform!
One by one the soldiers
under his command converge back to humanoid forms and ready their guns.
Shocked & startled at the sight of the enemy back and alive the mutants are
too stunned to move at first.
ARCHER
The Elite?! Take cover
before they...
LYLE ROURKE
Attack! <Orders his men
& women to open fire>
A shower of
laserbullets pelt/pepper the helpless Syndicate who retreat, fall back as they
return fire to cover their escape. Sliding into the canyon one of the
Commandos spots the sled approaching the dome's entrance which opens to admit
the vehicle inside.
NINA WILLIAMS
TJ! The energon
cubes!
T.J. COMBO <Aims his pulse
rifle>
Don't worry, I'll blow them
up to Alpha Prime as dust.
MRS. KETCHUM <Blocks his
path>
Stop! Don't
shoot! My son's on that thing.
PAUL PHOENIX
I got him into this mess,
I'll get him out. <Quickly he morphs and speeds off>
LYLE ROURKE
I'll assist you Phoenix.
<Aims his pistol>
Lyle tap-fires his
weapon like the Duke "John Wayne" does in his western movies. The first
shot shatters the glass canopy above Ash & Pickachu's heads and both look up
startled by the explosion of breaking glass.
PICKACHU
Piccaaa!
<Shrieks>
ASH KETCHUM
Whoa! What the
h***?!
Then two more
laserbullets slice through the restraining straps securing Ketchum to the seat
and again both he and his pet look around in stunned suprise at who or what is
shooting at them when a familiar vehicle comes racing after the speeding sled
honking its horn madly.
PAUL PHOENIX
Hurry Ash, Pickachu,
jump!
ASH KETCHUM
Phoenix? You're
back?
PAUL PHOENIX
Quick, no time to
argue. Jump! I'll catch you.
ASH KETCHUM
C'mon Pickachu, let's
go.
PICKCAHU
Picccaaaa! <Agrees with
his master>
Together they leap from
the sled and land perfectly onto the hood of Gravedigger and the monster truck
slows to a stop, U-turns around and races back the opposite way to safety.
At the same time Lyle readies his troops for the finale.
LYLE ROURKE
Prepare to
fire.
Now driverless the
out-of-control sled crashes into the side of the open doorway of the dome and
topples onto its side spilling energon cubes out its cargobay onto the
ground. Horrified Archer runs towards the disaster before anything else
happens to screw up his plans.
ARCHER
I must get those cubes
through the portal before it closes.
Reaching the wrecked
sled he picks up the cubes and is about to toss them into the portal and get
clear when suddenly Rourke gives the signal for his troops to open up on the
gorgonyte warrior. A combined blast of firepower slams into the leader of
the Syndicate lifting him off his feet end-over-end before slamming him flat on
his butt & backside into the dome itself as the door closes. In the
next the teleportation system activates with the storm-effects kicking in full
power of howling winds, darkening skies, flashing lightning, booming
thunder. The BLACK HOLE VOID appears overhead in the towering clouds and
the laserbeam rises into the darkness carrying a screaming Archer, energon cubes
& all until they dissapear from view. The other mutants; MewTwo,
She-Lion, Rhei Rat, Prince Leon, Ivan, Kendo, Foxy gasp & gawk with open
mouths & wide eyes. All except a sneering, grinning Ninjara who
believes at last, her time has come.
NINJARA
Return to base. Archer
is dead, I'm the leader now. Follow me! <She leads the Empire back to
HQ>
A cheering-whooping
contingent of Commandos congratulate one another for another job well
done. Ash is reunited with his mother again.
ASH KETCHUM
Thanks
Paul.
MRS. KETCHUM
Thank you so much for saving
my boy.
PAUL PHOENIX <Morphs>
You're welcome madame.
<Bows> This is the happiest day of my life. Archer fell into his own
spacebridge. He's lost forever.
LYLE ROURKE
I wish I could believe that.
<He stares into the heavens>
Meanwhile lightyears
away on Alpha Prime the portal opens on the other side as the special delivery
reaches its destination. Dahli is shocked to see his student appear in the
doorway, face twisted into a mask of hate and pile of energon cubes scattered at
his feet.
DAHLI LLAMA
Lord Archer! <Goes to
him> What happened?
ARCHER
The Commandos robbed me of
my victory. But they have not seen the last of Archer. I shall be
avenged! <Fire burns in his eyes>
