TRANSFORMERS ALIENS IN DISQUISE
Transport To Oblivion Part 2
Paul Phoenix and Ash Ketchum are
driving around in search for the Empire forces but so far no luck yet in
locating the Syndicate.
PAUL PHOENIX
Ahh, we getting nowhere
fast. How are we going to spy on the mutants if we can't even find
them?
ASH KETCHUM
Why not try down into that
riverbed? <He points out driver's window> At least we'll be shaded by the
sun.
PAUL PHOENIX
You got it. <He
approaches the dropoff>
But as he nears the rim
of the canyon he detects something odd emennating from the bottom of the
riverbed. Hitting his brakes he comes to a stop.
PAUL PHOENIX
It's the Empire, I know
it.
ASH KETCHUM
Let's see what they are
doing.
Together the two crawl
forwards and laying prone on their bellys peer down into the canyon. What
they see is a startling sight. A large white dome-shape object with an
opening at one side and track-chute extending outwards from it. At the far
end of the chute stands a control station monitored by the Syndicate baddies
with a rocketsled sitting next to the station. Its cargobay filled with
energon cubes the sled awaits its journey into the gateway portal to deliver the
special cargo.
ARCHER
Prepare for the test-run
Dahli. The spacebridge will open in 5 seconds.
NINJARA <Begins
countdown>
5...
ASH KETCHUM <Puzzled>
Bridge?
PAUL PHOENIX <Also
puzzled>
To Alpha
Prime?
NINJARA <Finishes
countdown>
4...3...2...1!
ARCHER
Release test
vehicle.
MewTwo engages the
control panel and the sled rockets away down the chute and into the dome as the
door slides shut behind it. Suddenly without warning the skies darken with
thunderheads as winds begin to howl, thunder booms and lightning flashes.
Then the clouds begin to slowly rotate as though a tornado is about to drop down
from the supercell but instead of the familiar whirlwind a laser beam extends
upwards from the center of the dome and rises up-up-up into the center of a
BLACK VOID that seems to materalize from nowhere. The sled can be seen
levitating upwards in the center of the beam of light until it vanishes from
sight into the BLACK VOID. Then the storm-effects cease and all is still
again. Both Phoenix and Ketchum cannot believe what they just
witnessed.

KETCHUM
WOW! <Both say
simultanously>
And lightyears away on
Alpha Prime Dahli Llama stands before the doorway of the gateway waiting to
receive the special delivery. But as the door parts open NOTHING can be
seen within. Suprised, then confused the great shamen wonders what went
wrong with his experiment until his student radios him about the
results.
ARCHER
Master,
report.
DAHLI LLAMA <Gives bad
news>
Test aborted my
apprentice. No sign of vehicle.
Upon hearing this
shocking news the gorgonyte warrior reacts with suprise! The test
failed??? This cannot be he seems to tell himself. At the same time
the samauri decides to crack a bad joke to lighten the mood.
NINJARA
Your spacebridge is
worthless. I will find a way to transport the cubes.
ARCHER
You will do nothing!
The vehicle just needs guidance over the spacebridge.
PAUL PHOENIX
We better get back to
headquarters.
ASH KETCHUM
Right.
PICKACHU
Pica. <Agrees with his
master>
While they quietly slip
away un-noticed the leader of the Empire wants someone or somebody to deliver
the next shipment through the portal.
ARCHER
I want a volunteer to drive
the sled through the gateway to Alpha Prime. <When no one speaks up or raises
hand> Very well, I shall select a volunteer.
Suddenly realizing they
have been discovered our heroes make their escape.
ASH KETCHUM
Dig out
Phoenix!
As Paul tries driving
away his tires spin but do not gain traction and in the process goes tumbling
end over end into the canyon to crash at the bottom upright on his wheels.
Startled by this noise the mutants whirl to confront the intruders.
NINJARA
Spies! Destroy them.
<Goes for her sword>
ARCHER <Stops her>
Do not harm
them.
NINJARA <Shocked>
What?!
ARCHER <Sneers>
They have just volunteered
for the next trip over the spacebridge.
