EPISODE II
TRANSPORT
TO OBLIVION
The next chapter in the Civil
War between Rourke and Archer to determine the fate of the universe, Alpha Prime
and Earth. In this episode the mutant empire attempt to deliver energon
cubes to their homeworld via an intergalactic transport system designed &
invented by Dahli Llama called the SPACEBRIDGE linking both Earth and Alpha
Prime together between an invisible laser beam gateway portal.
As the story begins Lyle Rourke
and T.J. Combo gaze at a huge statue carved out of stone resembling a proud
humanoid figure gazing into the far horizon and one outstreched hand upraised,
finger pointing towards an unseen future. At the same time Nina Williams
the asassin steps outside the main entrance of Elite HQ and happens to notice
the statue but with the sun's glare behind it she can't make it out and mistakes
it for the enemy!
NINA WILLIAMS
Look out, Syndicate!
<Raises pulse smart gun>
LYLE ROURKE
Nina?! <Startled by her
cry>
Williams lets go with a
rip of laserbullets from her weapon that impact the statue shattering it into
thousands of pieces of rubble that rain down like hail. Covering their
heads both Combo & Rourke run for cover.
LYLE ROURKE
Cease
fire!
T.J. COMBO
And move
it!
It is then Nina
recognizes the error of her mistake and quickly appologizes for destroying a
beautiful work of art.
NINA WILLIAMS
Sorry guys but it kind of
looked like the Empire.
T.J. COMBO <Scoffs>
Empire? Hah! We
sent those villians to the bottom of the sea months ago. Yes, the
Syndicate are gone for good...right sir?
LYLE ROURKE
I wish I could believe that
Combo, but I can't. <He stares into horizon>
Meanwhile far below the
surface of the ocean off the coast of Pallet Town rests the wreck of the
Syndicate starship that attempted to timewarp back to Alpha Prime but
failed. Inside the battleship Archer the gorgonyte leader of the mutants
is planning his revenge against Rourke and his next quest of domination of the
universe.
ARCHER
The Commandos think they
have defeated us. And yet we survived.
And thousands of
lightyears away...on Alpha Prime the situation is still out of control as power
levels are nearing the danger-zone. Dahli Llama the shamen and boss of
Archer since he too commands the Syndicate Empire is trying to maintain law
& order on the war-torn planet but at the moment he cannot seem to restore
power to his own headquarters.
DAHLI LLAMA
Losing power. Must try
to communicate with Archer it's our only hope.
He activates the Big
Screen Magic TV in the hope of contacting his apprentice on Earth and seeking
information from his #1 student.
DAHLI LLAMA
Archer, <Speaks into
mic> planet Alpha Prime calling Archer. Are you there my
apprentice?
Stunned, suprised the
gorgonyte warrior responds to the incoming transmission from his master and is
amazed to see his boss's image appear on-screen.
ARCHER
It can't be! Master
Dahli, <Kneels & bows before him> guardian of Alpha
Prime.
DAHLI LLAMA
<Acknowledges>
Archer, leader of the
Syndicate.
ARCHER
And future ruler of the
universe. Report status.
DAHLI LLAMA
Our supply of energon cubes
is running dangerously low. But my new intergalactic transport system is
almost complete.
ARCHER
Excellent my master.
We will suck this Earth-planet dry. <Grins evilly>
At the same
time...somewhere in Viridian City workers flee in terror when MewTwo the pokemon
clone makes his appearence inside a nearby factory complex. He first shows
up in the form of his boombox player blaring out oldies rock & roll music to
which the employees are listening to but have no idea the machine is really an
alien in disquise.
WORKER #1
Hey Ed, turn your tapeplayer
down will ya?
WORKER #2 <Gestures at
machine>
That's not...<Suddenly he
reacts> Huh?
Suddenly the player
morphs into the pokemon form of MewTwo who towers over the shocked, frightened
workers. He then calls out.
MEWTWO
Laserbeak prepare for
flight. Operation destruction.
He ejects a
audiocassette that converts into a Terminator macaw that takes to the air and
screeches in attack-mode with laser bolts shooting from its eyes and
wing-guns. Yelling & screaming the employees & bosses run in
terror from the complex escaping the fuscillade of firepower. Once the
base is cleared of all workers MewTwo contacts his master.
MEWTWO
Generators under Empire
control.
Then a section of the
wall explodes inwards as Archer strides into the building accompanied by his
fellow mutants.
ARCHER
Then start mass production
of energon cubes.
MewTwo casts the 3D
cubes for the mutants to fill with the stolen energy. Meanwhile unaware of
what is taking place Ash Ketchum, Misty, Tracy & Brock are enjoying a ride
inside the vehicular form of Helga Sinclair while listening to good ole fashion
rock & roll music.
MISTY
Ha-ha, you really pick up a
great beat on your stereo system Helga.
HELGA SINCLAIR
Heh-heh, you dig it, huh
lady? Well let me rev up the volume for you.
TRACY
Yeah, get
down!
HELGA SINCLAIR <Sees
trouble>
Uh-oh, look out! <Hits
her brakes>
Ash seated behind the
steering wheel of the School Bus glances out the windshield and cannot believe
what he sees. A mass exodus of cars, trucks, buses, taxis jammed here and
there, angry horns honking, drivers yelling & shouting swear words &
shaking fists. Traffic lights offline and pedestrians wandering about on
sidewalks and coming out of stores, etc. Police cops are having difficulty
in maintaining law & order on the streets.
ASH KETCHUM
Oh no, a traffic
jam!
BROCK
Good grief, just what we
need. Whoa, check this out.
MISTY
Everyone's leaving their
buildings.
TRACY
This is crazy, wierd
man.
HELGA SINCLAIR
Black-out city, just like
home. We better check in with Elite headquarters.
Reversing gears she
backtracks, U-turns and races back the way she came to headquarters with the bad
news. Immediately upon receiving this information Rourke scans the city
& neighborhood district of Pallet Town to determine what is causing the
difficulties.
LYLE ROURKE
The entire city is losing
power. <Puzzled> What could be causing it? Teletran, survey the
local power stations.
TELETRAN 1
Order acknowledged master.
<Sends the probes into orbit>
Within seconds the
probes begin beaming back pictures particularly at one location...Lyle watches
with interest & curiousity.
LYLE ROURKE
Ahh, there's the
problem. The solar power station.
Then he does a
double-take or reacts in shock at the next image the probes transmit. A
large hole can be seen on one side of the building and as the camera zooms in
for a close-up the familiar figure of Archer can be seen gesturing &
shouting orders to his unseen goons. The look on Lyle's face turns chalk
white with stunned disbelief.
LYLE ROURKE
Archer lives! <Then
shouts into intercom mic> Rangers! Assemble on the
double!
Minutes later he stands
before several of his troops who stand at attention awaiting their
instructions.
LYLE ROURKE
Joshua, Lei, Orchid, Nina,
Eddy! <Looks around> Hmm, over half my forces out on
patrols.
PAUL PHOENIX
Phoenix reporting for duty
sir! <Steps forward and salutes>
NINA WILLIAMS
You're late
again.
LYLE ROURKE
Rangers transform. <They
morph to vehicular modes> Roll out for the power station!
Then he morphs to his
18-Wheeler form and leads the mini-convoy off to stop the Empire again as
usual. Meanwhile the mutants are about to complete their assignment and
make off with the stolen booty.
ARCHER
Ahh soon, I will have a
shipment large enough to send to Alpha Prime.
Walking towards the
exit are Ninjara and her twin sister Foxy Roxy carrying several energon cubes in
their arms when both vixens are startled by the loud noise of breaking
glass. Looking up they gasp in shock & alarm as familiar figures drop
in from the skylight dome. Dropping their loads they run!
FOXY ROXY
Commandos!
NINJARA
Run for
cover!
They dash past Archer
who yells for them to stop and fight, not run like cowards before the
enemy.
ARCHER
Stand your ground
mutants!
Then he is distracted
by another voice and spins to confront Orchid who threatens him.
ORCHID
Don't worry Archer, I'll get
them after I've taken care of you!
But as the secret agent
attempts to takedown the gorgonyte she is knocked aside by a powerful backhand
that slams her to the floor. Archer dares the woman to get back up by
mocking her.
ARCHER
You will take care of
me???
LYLE ROURKE
I will
Archer.
ARCHER
Ahh, a pleasure to see you
again Lyle.
He shoots his
shoulder-wrist cannon that stings Rourke's hands making him drop his pulse
pistol. Then rushes in to finish him off.
ARCHER
I'm going to enjoy this,
taking you apart piece by piece.
LYLE ROURKE
Not this time...I'm going to
spoil your fun.
He defends himself by
sidestepping then delivering a backkick. Down goes Archer but he gets back
up again. Archer strikes back with a punch-kick combination of his
own. Back & forth the two leaders trade blows. Outside another
skirmish is taking place.
FOXY ROXY
Hurry up! Those
Commandos will...<Interrupted by laserfire>
Angered by this attack
on her sibling Ninjara retaliates with firepower of her own. Shooting her
pulse rifle the vixen knocks down Dr. Sweet who cries in pain from the stinging
blow, grabbing his numbed-shocked hands and yells to his comrades.
JOSHUA SWEET
A concussion blast, back,
fall back!
FOXY ROXY
Ninjara, behind
you!
Charging the samauri is
Eddy Gordo and Lei Wulong ready to takedown Ninjara but she is ready for
them.
EDDY GORDO
Too late
Ninjara?
NINJARA
It's never too late
Commando. <Strikes him down> Take that!
Another blast from her
weapons drop Gordo and Wulong who topple to the ground and dive for cover.
Laughing evilly the samauri morphs to jet form and takes to the sky accompanied
by her sister Roxy. Back inside the complex Laserbeak is swooping &
pecking at Phoenix who swats at the pesky T-800.
PAUL PHOENIX
Get away from me
you!
Simultanously Archer
chuckles at Lyle struggling to regain his footing and calls to his
bodyguard.
ARCHER
Hehehahaha, MewTwo.
Rourke is target-practice, FIRE! <Morphs to gun mode>
T.J. COMBO
COMMANDER! <Runs to
protect him>
At the same time that
MewTwo fires the gun at Rourke, Combo throws himself between the laser bolt and
his boss taking the impact of the shots in his chest.
T.J. COMBO
Aaaaaaaaaugh! <Screams in
pain> Uuuuuuuuuh <Passes out>
He collapses in Lyle's
arms who catches him. Turning he calls out!
LYLE ROURKE
Joshua,
Lei!
Sweet & Wulong
burst into the factory firing their pulse guns. Archer changes back to
alien form and yells to his warriors.
ARCHER
We have what we came for,
let's go. Until next time Rourke.
He flies into the skies
through the broken skylight followed by MewTwo and Laserbeak. Rourke
watches them escape then turns as his soldiers approach him.
LYLE ROURKE
Take T.J., he's
hurt.
LEI WULONG
But Archer is getting
away.
LYLE ROURKE
T.J. has been hit bad.
We got to get him back to headquarters fast!
Nodding Sweet, Phoenix,
Orchid, Eddy, Wulong and Rourke return to HQ to save the life of Combo. It
is back at headquarters where Sweet attempts to restore T.J. back to normal with
help from Professor Oaks & Ivy.
JOSHUA SWEET
This terminal will have to
be totally R%R'd.
PROFESSOR IVY
<Confused>
R&R'd?
JOSHUA SWEET
Removed and
rebuilt.
PROFESSOR OAKS
Hmm, and that rear-end
assembly looks like it could use some good-ole fashioned blowtorch work to
secure it.
JOSHUA SWEET
It sure
does.
T.J. COMBO <Sits up>
That's what you think
doctor. Just keep your hands off my...
JOSHUA SWEET
No more back-talk or I'll
short your mouth circuits.
T.J. COMBO <Glares>
Why you...
JOSHUA SWEET
Heh-heh, ole Combo is going
to pull through nicely.
Meanwhile the Commandos
discuss the events that transpired.
HELGA SINCLAIR
So Archer got away with all
those energon cubes huh?
LEI WULONG
Yes but he still has to
figure out how to get them back to Alpha Prime.
ASH KETCHUM
And the Syndicate, they
don't have a ship anymore right?
LYLE ROURKE
I dunno but I suspect they
have a plan. Paul? I want you to spy on the
Empire.
ASH KETCHUM
Hey I want to go along, can
I Phoenix?
PAUL PHOENIX
Sure, just leave the driving
to me.
He morphs to his
Gravedigger monster truck form and Ketchum hops into the vehicle together with
his pokemon pet Pickachu and they race away. At the same time we see
Archer and Dahli discussing plans of the new transportation device.
DAHLI LLAMA
Sending
coordinates.
ARCHER
Coordinates received.
<Blueprints appear on-screen>
DAHLI LLAMA
Our new intergalactic
transportation system will establish a spacebridge between Earth and Alpha
Prime.
A 3D diagram of the
gateway portal is revealed before Archer who likes what he sees. This way
he can deliver the cubes with no trouble.
ARCHER
Excellent.
DAHLI LLAMA <Warns his
student>
But, my apprentice.
The portal will be operable for a maximum of 60 minutes.
ARCHER
We will be ready my
master.
