More Than Meets The Eye Part 3

The eruption of the volcano reactivated the ship's computer terminal network which immediately began searching the landscape for intelligent life-forms.

TELETRAN 1

Explore, explore...

The probes zoomed across the terrain until coming across a nearby military airfield with jet planes parked on the tarmac next to building structures. The probes scanned the aircrafts or took a Cat-Scan photo of the planes themselves then relayed the data back to the computer onboard the Discovery. Teletran 1 next went to work in reviving the injured-wounded crew members but unfortunately it was too damaged to tell the difference between human or mutant so it started repairing the Syndicate first!!!

TELETRAN 1

Repair, repair...

The first to be awakened was Foxy Roxy the karate mistress vixen as the computer cast a glowing aura over her prone body which then transformed into that of a F-14 Tomcat jet before morphing back to its origional self. Standing up and looking around, wondering what happened or where she was, Roxy carries the body of Archer over to Teletran 1 who scans the Gorgonyte Commander with the same aura-field before he too wakes up. Foxy helps him stand up.

FOXY ROXY

Archer, my leader. We are alive again.

ARCHER

Quickly, we must revive the other mutants.

Together they begin bringing back to life the remaining members of the Syndicate family until the entire clan is strong & well again. One by one they fly out through the hole in the fuselage of the starship and zoom upwards to land atop the crater of the now extinct volcano where they gaze at their new surroundings.

ARCHER

Much time has passed. We are on a planet far from Alpha Prime but our mission has not changed.

KENDO COYOTE <Puzzled>

How do we know if Alpha Prime exists master?

ARCHER

It must exist. And if this land is filled with resources, <Gestures> we shall return home with the power to build the ULTAMITE WEAPON and conquer the universe.

So saying they begin walking away when laserfire catches everyone's attentions. Looking back Archer spots Ninjara firing down at the Discovery in her attempts to blow apart the ship.

ARCHER

Ninjara!

NINJARA

I'm just saying goodbye.

ARCHER

Save your magic. The Commandos have taken their, heh-heh-heh, last flight.

Again he walks off, leaving the lady fox staring after him in puzzlement before she goes back to shooting at the starship.

NINJARA

Thanks for the ride idiots. Too bad you can't go the rest of the way.

However she quits trying to blow up the ship and retreats after her boss. Inside the Discovery Rourke sprawled on the floor is revived by Teletran 1 when the probes locate and scan a Big Rig 18-Wheeler in front of a local truck-stop.

TELETRAN 1

Explore, explore...<The probes beam back the info> Repair, repair...

Again the shimmering aura flows over Lyle's lifeless body and converts his human self into the Big Rig before it too changes back to human mode.

LYLE ROURKE

Thanks! I needed that.

Meanwhile unaware of the Elite being reawakened the Empire begin trekking across this strange landscape seeking a new place to call home at the moment.

ARCHER

We'll set up here. <Points to boulders> Those rocks will serve as our base of operations. MewTwo, prepare blueprints for a new star cruiser. Ninjara, convert the area for construction.

NINJARA <Confused>

What about materials?

ARCHER

Use your imagination. <Points to his head>

NINJARA

Well...any ideas?

MEWTWO

There...<He points to far off object>

NINJARA

Great! But I'll need some help.

MewTwo ejects a compact disc from his player that morphs into the mutant grizzly known as Ivan.

MEWTWO

Ivan, activate piledrivers. Operation destruction.

NINJARA <Changes to jet mode>

Let's do it! <And zooms off>

At the same time outside their damaged starship half embedded inside the base of the volcano the Commandos stand at attention before their leader who addresses them like a drill sergant at Boot Camp.

LYLE ROURKE

This new planet is rich with sources of energy, but the Syndicate must know this too. So we must find them and stop them. <He calls out> Lara?

LARA CROFT

Right here sir.

LYLE ROURKE

Scout the area. See if you can locate the Empire.

LARA CROFT

Just turn me loose sir I'll sniff them out.

NINA WILLIAMS

I'm going too! I wanna boot some mutants in their tail-butts.

The others snicker & giggle uncontrollably until Rourke gets them to stop before issuing his instructions.

LYLE ROURKE

Easy Nina, just find them. We'll deal with them later. Good luck!

Both the assassin expert and archaeologist morph to their vehicular forms of 4x4 Humvee and Jeep CJ Wrangler and drive away. Meanwhile the mutants arrive at the power station with the samauri not happy about taking orders instead of giving them which is what she intends to do someday soon.

NINJARA

Someday I'll be giving the orders Ivan. You'll do what I say.

IVAN

Look, Ninjara. Archer is strong, unmercifullness. He can't be beaten and you'll never be our leader.

NINJARA

I will find a way...everyone has a weak spot.

IVAN

Yeah? Well not Archer.

NINJARA

We shall see, now! <Loses her cool> Shake things up a little!

The griz bangs away with both fists into the ground starting a tremor surge that cracks open the ground and collapses the station as Ninjara sneers with delight at this handywork display.

NINJARA

I'm impressed!

Simultanously the TombRaider and Williams continue driving around with no sign yet of the enemy's presence or location.

LARA CROFT

Sure is alot different than Alpha Prime out here.

NINA WILLIAMS

Don't fall in love with it TombRaider. We won't be staying that long.

LARA CROFT

You smell something Nina?

NINA WILLIAMS

No?

LARA CROFT

I do, I think we just found the Empire. Follow me.

Morphing back to human forms they climb a small rise or ravine until both women peer down into the valley below them and what they see is a startling sight! A huge skeletal structure resembling a fortress of some kind is undergoing construction phases, being worked on by the Cyberdyne Systems Terminator 800s and the Cylon Centurions together with the mutants assisting every now and then with Archer supervising the project.

NINA WILLIAMS <Gets anxious>

Let's get down there and kick some a**.

LARA CROFT <Warns her>

Ease off your throttle Williams. Remember what Lyle said, just find them.

NINA WILLIAMS <Puzzled>

What are they doing?

LARA CROFT

Let's find out. <She activates her comlink>

Soon the voice of Archer comes through over the speakers as if he were standing beside the women on the plateau. His words shock or chill both Croft and Williams as they cannot believe what he is saying.

ARCHER

I will plunder Earth and steal its precious resources.

MEWTWO

We can concentrate the energy into energon cubes and store them in the new space cruiser.

ARCHER

Heheahaha, how ironic. By leading us to this planet the Elite have sealed their own doom.

Suddenly Lara spots Nina setting up a weapons platform, a sniper rifle on tripod and peering through the scope.

LARA CROFT

Nina! What are you doing?

NINA WILLIAMS <Sights on target>

I've got Archer dead center in my viewfinder. Smile for the camera turkey!

She pulls the trigger and a laser bolt streaks away from the gun to explode harmlessly against the fortress walls setting off a bright flash and loud BOOM! Everybody is startled by the sudden sneak attack and turn as one in the direction from where the sound came from. Shielding his eyes from the afterglare of the explosion, Archer tries to spot the unseen sniper or snipers.

ARCHER

Who could be firing on us?

PRINCE LEON

Who even knows we're here?

NINJARA

The Commandos.

ARCHER

Impossible.

NINJARA

They are the only ones!

ARCHER

MewTwo, send Laserbeak to investigate.

MEWTWO

Laserbeak prepare for flight. Code-heading northeast.

He releases the T-800 macaw who takes flight and seeks out the unseen snipers. Seeing this approaching entity the women panic.

LARA CROFT

Now look what you done!

NINA WILLIAMS

Good grief! Let's burn rubber.

They morph and drive off with the Terminator in hot pursuit.

NINA WILLIAMS

What is that thing up there?

LARA CROFT

I dunno, but we can't seem to shake it.

NINA WILLIAMS

Let's split up. It can't follow both of us.

LARA CROFT

Right! At least one of us will get back to Rourke. Accellerators down!

Veering off in opposite directions from each other the vehicles attempt to elude their pursuer. Laserbeak launches a drone to chase Nina while continues to chase Lara and fires away at her.

LARA CROFT <Taunts the T-800>

Eat my dust birdbrain!

NINA WILLIAMS

You couldn't hit a Commando with a water-gun. <Fired on by the drone> Kiss my a**! <Knocks the remote probe out of the sky>

LARA CROFT

You don't give up do you? <Suddenly she is hit> Aaaaaaaaugh!

Out of control the Humvee crashes off the side of the road and falls to the ground where it lands on its side at the bottom of a ravine. Screeching in triumph the Terminator machine circles its prey to make sure it's terminated, out of action before returning back to HQ. Croft lays helpless and unable to move until help arrives in the form of Dr. Sweet and Nina Williams.

JOSHUA SWEET <Examines his patient>

Where did they get ya?

LARA CROFT <In pain>

I, ah, I think it's my, my drive chain.

JOSHUA SWEET

Can you morph?

LARA CROFT

I um, I don't think so.

NINA WILLIAMS <Feels guilty>

I'm sorry Croft, it's my fault. I shouldn't have fired on Archer.

LARA CROFT <Teases her>

Ah-haha, you shouldn't have missed ya mean, ha-ha.

NINA WILLIAMS

Huh? Heh-heh, yes, yeah, right, ha-ha.

JOSHUA SWEET

Oh you girls...<Rolls eyes> Always having fun.

NINA WILLIAMS

You could say that doc.

LARA CROFT

Aye, you got that right.

But the friends return safely to headquarters where Sweet operates on Croft while she reclines on the table and as the doctor treats her injuries Lara tells Rourke of what she and Williams heard about Archer's evil plans or intentions.

LARA CROFT

And that's all we heard sir. They're gonna put the energy into some kind of cubes then haul it back to Alpha Prime.

LYLE ROURKE

Helga, organize a battle-unit. We're going after them.

And seconds later the 2nd in Command to Rourke stands alongside her boyfriend & boss as they face the other members of the Elite. Helga calls out the names of the soldiers and one by one they respond by morphing to their vehicular disquises in the following order...

Lara Croft! <TombRaider morphs into 4x4 Humvee>

Chip Hazard! <Major bodyguard morphs into High Roller monster truck>

T.J. Combo! <Boxer morphs into Predator monster truck>

Kip Killigan! <Covert ninja morphs into Bulldozer monster truck>

Lei Wulong! <Police detective morphs into Monster Patrol monster truck>

Joshua Sweet! <Doctor morphs into Bounty Hunter monster truck>

Link Static! <Communications officer morphs into Gunslinger monster truck>

Then after each soldier changes to their vehicle modes Sinclair instructs them to complete the next orders such as...

Let's roll!

He converges to his 18-Wheeler form and Helga changes into a School Bus and then the Big Rig leads the convoy into battle against the Empire to stop the mutants and Archer before the future or the universe is lost forever!
