MANY MILLIONS OF YEARS AGO ON THE PLANET ALPHA
PRIME LIFE EXISTED, BUT NOT LIFE AS WE KNOW IT TODAY. INTELLIGENT HUMANS
AND MUTANTS THAT COULD THINK AND FEEL INHABITATED THE CITY OF ARCHERON.
THEY WERE CALLED COMMANDO ELITE AND MUTANT SYNDICATE. BUT THE BRUTAL
SYNDICATE WERE DRIVEN BY A SINGLE GOAL, TOTAL DOMINATION! THEY SET OUT TO
DESTROY THE PEACE-LOVING RANGERS AS A CIVIL WAR BETWEEN THE FORCES OF GOOD AND
EVIL RAGED ACROSS ALPHA PRIME. DEVASTATING ALL IN ITS PATH, DRAINING THE
PLANET'S ONCE RICH SOURCES OF ENERGY. THE ELITE ON THE VERGE OF EXTINSION
BATTLED VALIANTLY TO SURVIVE...
As the story begins we see Paul
Phoenix and Nick Nitro collecting conductors from an abandoned warehouse in the
heart of the colony complex LV-426 to restore power to their headquarters the
Fortress of Elite.
NICK NITRO <Complains>
There's not enough energy in
these conductors to last a century.
PAUL PHOENIX
Well at least we found these
Nitro.
NICK NITRO
And when these run out?
<Indicates the rods>
PAUL PHOENIX
Can't worry about that
now. Hey let's get back to HQ.
Nitro morphs to his
vehicular disquise and orders Paul to...
NICK NITRO
Load 'em
up!
PAUL PHOENIX
Yes sir! <Tosses
conductors into trunk> I'll bet Commander Rourke will be glad to see
us.
Then the friends race
away back to the fortress hidden in the remote mountains beyond the colony
base. Unaware that in a few moments they will be ambushed without warning
by the Empire.
NICK NITRO
We're nearing the bridge to
the fortress, one mega-mile to go.
PAUL PHOENIX
Ahh, home sweet
home.
But suddenly, up ahead
directly in their path is a roadblock barricade blocking their way to
safety. Hiding behind a combination of sawhorses, haybales, oil drums,
giant tires, etc. are the mutants of the Brutal Paws Of Fury Syndicate armed
with pulse laser guns and ready for a rumble. Nitro spots the danger
coming up and begins to slow down.
NICK NITRO
Uh-oh, a mutant reception
committee. <Activates deflector shields>
PAUL PHOENIX
Oh great! Just what we
need...s***. <Curses>
FOXY ROXY <Sees oncoming
vehicle>
Commandos, stop
them!
They open fire with
their weapons releasing a deadly barrage of laser-bullets that bounce harmlessly
off the shields as Nitro hits his brakes and screeches to a sideways
slide-stop. Phoenix jumps out the passenger's door and crouching behind
the open door returns fire with his pulse rifle.
PAUL PHOENIX
Rourke told me there would
be days like this.
NICK NITRO
And you didn't believe
him?
PAUL PHOENIX
I do now! <Continues
trading shots>
Then Rhei Rat the
mutant tai-boxer unleashes a burst of flame from his flamethrower that instantly
surrounds the humans in a Ring Of Fire!!!
NICK NITRO <Panics>
We gotta get these energy
conductors back to the fortress!
PAUL PHOENIX
I'm right behind you! <He
morphs to his vehicle mode>
NICK NITRO
Mind if I cut in
suckers?!
He charges the
barricade and plows through the obstacles in his path sending debris flying into
the air like projectiles. Rhei Rat, Kendo Coyote, Prince Leon, She-Lion
and Foxy Roxy go flying through the air too and crash back to the ground on
their butts, faces, backsides, etc. Scrambling back up they watch the
escaping vehicles flee.
KENDO COYOTE
After
them!
Now the mutants morph
to jet-forms and takeoff into the sky, then divebomb the cars from above with
their laser guns. Explosions go off around the fleeing Commandos who
swerve side to side, creating moving targets and making it impossible for the
enemy to lock onto them. Suddenly Phoenix is struck from behind by a
direct hit and skids out of control, does a complete 180* or 360* spinaround
before coming to a stop. Alarmed, Nitro hits his brakes and doubles back
to help his partner.
NICK NITRO
Paul! Get in quick!
<Opens rear doors>
Just able to transform
back to human self Phoenix scrambles into the rear seats and ducks down flat as
Nitro accellerates away again.
NICK NITRO <Worried>
You all
right?
PAUL PHOENIX
Yeah, I think it's my rear
axle that got hit.
NICK NITRO <Cracks
joke>
Well hang onto your
lunchbox, I'm shifting to overdrive.
Then he races away at
top speed into a narrow canyon between towering cliff walls and slips into a
nearby opening in one side of the wall so the attacking jets cannot locate
him. Finally the mutants call off the pursuit.
PRINCE LEON
They've gone underground,
we'll never catch them now.
SHE LION
We better report back to
Archer.
RHEI RAT
The boss isn't going to like
this one.
KENDO COYOTE
What choice do we
have? He must learn what happened.
FOXY ROXY
I hope he dosen't lose his
temper like he always does whenever he gets mad.
As soon as the enemy is
gone...Nitro re-emerges from hiding and continues on his journey to freedom
& safety. Finally approaching the fortress he calls out.
NICK NITRO
Nitro to Elite, we're coming
in. Lower the drawbridge!
The bridge lowers
across the gap of a dropoff into a lagoon below and the car or truck races
across and into the main complex of the fortress before the drawbridge rises up
into place again. Hiding nearby, spying on the headquarters base is MewTwo
the pokemon clone of Mew and bodyguard to Archer. At the moment he is
about to steal information of the Elite's operations of saving Alpha Prime from
being lost forever to the Empire.
MEWTWO
Laserbeak prepare for
flight. Destination the Fortress of Elite, operation
assimilation.
He ejects an
audiocassette from his portable CD-Audiotape player he wears on his utility belt
that converges to a Cyberdyne Systems Series 800 Endoskeleton resembling a macaw
parrot that zooms away and flies to the roof of the fortress to perch atop a
skylight dome and peers through the glass into the interior of the building
within as it starts recording the information its master requires.
Suddenly as MewTwo begins to receive the data he detects enemy
approaching.
MEWTWO
Laserbeak, Commando alert!
<Morphs to harmless boulders>
Another car or truck
races past not noticing the fake rock formation and crosses the lowered
drawbridge into the fort then the bridge rises again. As soon as the coast
is clear MewTwo remorphs back to his true form.
MEWTWO
Disclosure averted.
Continue observations.
Inside the fortress
briefing room (Just like the Captain's briefing room onboard the Enterprise in
Star Trek) Lyle Rourke is listening to reports from his fellow officers of the
Elite about their assignments of seeking out energy sources to restore power
supply to their homebase.
LYLE ROURKE
Any luck
Helga?
HELGA SINCLAIR
Negative. No sign of
Alpha Prime is blacker than a power surge.
LYLE ROURKE <Does not like this
news>
Unless a new supply of
energy is found. Nobody is going to win this war.
LEI WULONG
When do we start the search
mission?
LYLE ROURKE
Soon as you're ready to
launch.
Hearing this, Laserbeak
flies back to its master and morphs back to audiotape form as MewTwo reinserts
the tape into his player and then zooms away into the skies on his journey back
to Empire headquarters where at that same moment Archer the leader of the
Syndicate is plotting his own plans of domination.
ARCHER
If there's a new source of
energy to be found the Empire must find it first.
MEWTWO
Commandos are set to launch
my lord.
ARCHER
As are we...<Calls
out> Dahli!
DAHLI LLAMA
What is your command my
apprentice?
ARCHER
You are to stay
behind. I may entrust Alpha Prime to you my master.
DAHLI LLAMA
Fear not Archer, Alpha Prime
shall remain as you leave it.
ARCHER
Excellent! Now it's
merely a matter of time until Rourke admits defeat.
NINJARA
The Elite would have lost
eons ago if I've been calling the shots.
ARCHER
Ninjara, only a select few
ever lead.
NINJARA
My time will come
Archer.
ARCHER
Never! <Yells at her,
makes the vixen flinch> Prepare for blastoff.
